What do we live for?
Collection of philosophical essays (2008-2015)
What is the sense of life? How does the world work, what can we even know about it, and what should we do? These philosophical questions are asked by each of us from time to time. Through the prism of the views of famous thinkers of different eras, the author of this book in an accessible form sets out his vision of philosophical problems, making philosophy as close as possible to everyday life. This book is equally far from ordinary pseudo-wisdom, tedious science and religious dogmas, which makes it so useful and interesting.
The collection offered to the reader's judgment consists of the book itself, "What do we live for?", intended mainly for teenagers, as well as several philosophical essays for older readers who think about "eternal" questions. Complemented by a collection of poems by the author.
All the works included in the collection were written by the author in his youth and represent the first attempt at writing. The first edition was published in 2013, the second (modified and supplemented) - in 2015.
